General conditions

  • A lesson lasts 45 minutes.
  • The course must be paid in advance. If the payment is not completed within the given time period, a surcharge of CHF 30 will be applied to each outstanding reminder within this time.
  • Contract cancellation must be in writing and reach us one week before the start of the course. Once the course has started it is no longer possible to cancel the contract.
  • The cost of the material is not included in the course price and is charged separately.
  • Private Courses : it is possible to cancel the lesson the day before until noon. Lessons taking place on Monday can be cancelled up to the Friday before at noon. After this deadline the lessons are billed.
  • Lessons falling on a holiday are replaced in agreement with the teacher
  • Small Group Courses: These courses take place according to a fixed schedule. The participants cannot change or cancel a course on an individual basis (illness, vacation, or professional reasons).
  • Course organisation and the allocation of participants to a group are the sole responsibility of the management.
  • A course can be cancelled if the number of participants is no longer sufficient. In this case, only the amount paid for the lessons not taken is refunded. The course cancellation does not give the right to any compensation or to another service.
  • Participants can join a course at any time, if the management decides.
  • Examinations: Examination fees are not included in the course price and must be paid individually.
  • Intensive Courses: Small group intensive courses last 2 weeks minimum.
  • The courses are paid by the week and not according to the number of lessons followed.
  • The number of lessons daily is 4 x 45’ (includes a break of 10 minutes).
  • A group consists of 3 to 8 participants.
  • If the number of participants is 3, the number of lessons is reduced to 3 x 45’.
  • Classes which fall on a public holiday are not replaced and are not compensated by Interlangues.
